AirAsia Philippines named Safest Low-Cost Airline for 2023

AirAsia Philippines proudly displays a new feather in its crown as it receives a perfect 7 out of 7 certification for Safety and COVID-19 compliance, a testament to the company’s dedication to a culture of safety.

AirAsia Philippines has been ranked as one of the 20 safest low-cost airlines for 2023 by airlineratings.com, which is one of the best aviation safety rating sites in the world. AirAsia also topped other low-cost airlines in terms of fleet age, number of years in operation, and lack of recordable incidents in the most recent two years.

“In AirAsia, we live and breathe safety. From the challenges brought by the pandemic to the most recent incident impairing the country’s communications and navigation facilities, our Allstar employees have demonstrated professionalism, tenacity, and resilience.   This recognition from Airlineratings.com is both a reminder and a motivation for all of us to raise the bar even more in the service of all our dear guests,” AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shares.
