AirAsia flight attendant makeup standards and applying it

Makeup is unquestionably an important part of a flight attendant’s preparation routine. As a result, I’m now going to show you a flight attendant makeup tutorial done the AirAsia Allstar way.

Steph Garcia has been a flight attendant for AirAsia Philippines for quite some time. She is also known for being extremely conscientious about her makeup. In fact, Steph spends hours getting ready for a flight.

Make-up is essential for flight attendants because they are also the airline’s brand ambassadors. As a result, they must look their best in front of the passengers. Flight attendants must accurately represent the company’s branding.

Airlines are picky about the overall appearance of their flight attendants. Makeup is one thing, but skin care is another.

AirAsia’s makeup standard, according to Steph, should embody “fun” with a dash of self-expression. AirAsia flight attendants are permitted to wear any make-up style. However, it has to enhance appearance and should compliment the red uniforms. Because the uniforms are red, one of these parameters prohibits flight attendants from using bright colors for eye shadow. Their flight attendant make-up should brighten their smiles as well (even if in face mask). Remember, a flight attendant’s smile is part of her uniform.

The first step is typically to apply moisturizer, which helps to reduce skin problems such as acne and blemishes. The second step is to apply sunscreen, which will protect your skin from UV rays. It also keeps the skin from aging. In addition, an airplane flies at 37,000 feet above sea level, where UV rays from the sun are stronger. The primer is applied in the third step. Because flight attendants work long hours, this helps the make-up last longer.

The final step is to lay the foundation. You must know your skin color for this. Steph fills in her brows after applying foundation. Steph grooms her brows with maskara. She has no trouble fixing her brows because they are not too thin. For Steph, brows complement her makeup perfectly.

I was able to have Steph demonstrate flight attendant make-up. The remaining steps are shown here.
