AirAsia Philippines’ Guide to Smooth Travels: Tips for Guests

AirAsia Philippines is committed to helping its guests experience a hassle-free and seamless airport immigration process. As the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline, AirAsia is sharing valuable tips to ensure you can avoid any issues during your international travels.

Arrive Early and Be Prepared

AirAsia Philippines recommends that guests arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare. For international flights, it’s best to be there four hours ahead of departure, while three hours is sufficient for domestic flights.

Essential Travel Documents

Travelers should ensure they have all the necessary documents for international trips. This includes a valid passport, round-trip itinerary, visa (if needed), and supporting documents like a certificate of employment, income tax, and bank certificate to verify your travel intentions.

Online Check-In Made Easy with airasia Super App

To bypass lengthy check-in counter lines, guests are encouraged to use the airasia Super App for a smoother check-in experience.

AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Country Head Steve Dailisan empathizes with passengers who face offloading issues, saying, “We understand the sentiments of travelers who are being offloaded for various reasons. We feel their frustrations especially since most of them have certainly saved money and have prepared for their dream vacation this summer. For humanitarian reasons, AirAsia will be assisting guests who will be offloaded through our customer happiness team. However, we are one with the government in making sure that Filipinos would not fall victim to human trafficking and illegal recruitment.”
