AirAsia Philippines has brought back flights to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, just in time for the Lunar New Year celebrations. When their first flight left from NAIA Terminal 3 on January 7, passengers were very grateful for how hard the flight crew worked to make it a memorable one.
AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shares, “Our return to Kaohsiung signals an auspicious and positive welcome to the year of the Rabbit. Before the pandemic, this route and Manila-Taipei had immensely contributed to our growth with its consistently high traffic demand, especially among leisure travelers and overseas Filipino workers who are always searching for the best value deals. We look forward to reopening more international routes and air travel in the Eastern Region of Asia.”
Kaohsiung is well-known as “The Harbour City” for its many riverside parks, cultural events, and delicious cuisine. It’s also a shopper’s and foodie’s dream, with bustling night markets and huge malls stocked with all sorts of unique trinkets and wares, as well as some of the best examples of regional specialties like mud volcano chicken, beef noodles, pan-fried dumplings, and more.
Manila – Kaohsiung timetable
The Manila–Kaohsiung flight leaves from NAIA Terminal 3 at 4:45 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and arrives in Kaohsiung at 6:45 pm on the same days. At 8:15 p.m., the plane will take off from Kaohsiung International Airport and land at NAIA T3 at 10:00 p.m.
AirAsia Philippines, which was recently named one of the World’s Safest Low-Cost Airlines, will also begin service to Tokyo next month.
AirAsia is celebrating the Lunar New Year with January Festival discounts, which offer a one-way base cost of P1,812 to Kaohsiung and other foreign destinations until January 29 and are valid for travel through July 31, 2023.
The World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is also advising its guests to regularly visit the airasia fly safe page and airasia Super App social media platforms Facebook and Twitter for flight schedules and other travel advisories.

My passion for aviation inspires me to bring you quality content through my website and social accounts. Aviation is indeed in my blood and blog!
