AirAsia Philippines has reported a strong performance in Q1 2023 with an increased number of forward bookings for the month of March. The airline sold 475,000 seats for travel from 1 to 31 March 2023, marking a 95% increase compared to the same period last year. Top domestic and international destinations include Cebu, Boracay, Tacloban, Taipei, Bangkok, and Seoul.
According to Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Country Head, the airline’s competitive pricing remains a top motivator for customers. “Our effort of mounting different online and on-ground travel promos is our way of providing the best value for our guests’ hard-earned money,” he added.
To keep the momentum going and encourage more travelers to book flights earlier, AirAsia Philippines is offering another round of P1SO Sale. From 13 to 19 March, guests can enjoy a PHP1 one-way base fare to domestic destinations such as Boracay, Bohol, Puerto Princesa, Bacolod, Davao, Kalibo, Cagayan de Oro, and Roxas from Manila, and Boracay, Puerto Princesa, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro from Cebu-Mactan International Airport.
Additionally, international destinations such as Macao, Taipei, Bangkok, Bali, Tokyo, and Osaka are available for PHP511 to PHP2,811 for travels from 4 September 2023 to 13 August 2024. Dailisan advised customers to plan ahead and book flights earlier to enjoy affordable rates and to regularly check the airline’s website and download the airasia SuperApp for exciting deals on hotels and activities.
AirAsia Philippines reminds its guests to allocate ample time before their estimated time of departure in NAIA and to practice self-check-in via the AirAsia Super App or the AirAsia kiosks available at the airport. The airline encourages customers to comply with security clearance and immigration screening procedures to ensure a smooth travel experience.
