As the holiday season approaches, AirAsia Philippines is encouraging its guests to get ready for the Christmas and New Year rush. What is the key to a smooth travel experience? Plan travel itineraries and baggage bundles in advance for greater convenience.
Fast Pass for a Quicker, More Convenient Experience
AirAsia is offering a special feature to its guests, the AirAsia Fast Pass. This option includes a dedicated check-in counter, priority boarding, and the bonus of an extra hand-carry baggage allowance of up to 14 kg. This service is particularly useful for those who are always on the move and value their time. Fast Pass users can skip long lines and have the flexibility to bring essential items within the allowable limit. It’s an ideal choice for those carrying holiday gifts or ‘pasalubong’.
Despite the Civil Aeronautics Board’s (CAB) decision to retain the Fuel Surcharge at Level 7 for December, AirAsia Philippines remains optimistic about booking trends towards the year’s end. A Level 7 fuel surcharge means passengers traveling in December will encounter charges ranging from Php219 to Php708 for domestic flights and from Php722.71 to Php1,124.26 for international flights, varying by distance.
AirAsia’s Response to Fuel Price Volatility
Acknowledging the volatility of fuel prices, AirAsia is dedicated to providing the best value deals. This commitment extends beyond flights to include hotels, rides, and other products available through airasia Move (formerly airasia Superapp). “While fuel prices remain volatile, AirAsia will stay committed to offering best value deals not only for flights but also for hotels, rides and other products offered via airasia Move (formerly airasia Superapp). We encourage our guests to plan their travels ahead to save on cost and optimize their budget”, says First Officer Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Country Head for Communications and Public Affairs.
To mitigate the impact of fuel prices on its customers, AirAsia is rolling out promotional offers like the Go Go Go Holideals. This promotion features one-way base fares starting at PHP 91 for both domestic and international flights. Bookings are open until November 26 for travel up until April 30, 2024. This initiative reflects AirAsia’s ongoing efforts to make air travel more affordable and accessible, even during peak travel seasons.
AirAsia Philippines is gearing up for the holiday season with a focus on customer convenience and affordability. From the Fast Pass service to special promotional deals, the airline is dedicated to ensuring a pleasant and cost-effective travel experience for its passengers.

My passion for aviation inspires me to bring you quality content through my website and social accounts. Aviation is indeed in my blood and blog!
