AirAsia Steps In to Help MYAirline Passengers and Staff

AirAsia is rolling out a special offer to help passengers affected by the recent suspension of MYAirline operations. The airline is giving a 50% discount on base fares to all MYAirline passengers who had confirmed flight bookings. This offer is available for a range of destinations and is effective immediately until November 30, 2023.

How to Claim the Special AirAsia Offer

If you’re one of the affected MYAirline passengers, you can take advantage of this 50% discount by showing your confirmed MYAirline flight bookings. Where can you do this? Head over to AirAsia Sales Counters at various locations including KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 2) in Sepang, and other international airports in Langkawi, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuching, Tawau, Kota Kinabalu, and Bangkok. The offer covers flights to and from Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Penang, Tawau, Kota Bharu, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, and Bangkok.

Bo Lingam, the Group CEO of AirAsia Aviation Group Limited, expressed empathy for the MYAirline staff affected by the suspension. He said, “As the people’s airline, we deeply empathise with all affected MYAirline passengers and their staff. We understand the stress and disruption this situation has caused and hope that this 50 percent discount will assist affected passengers in making new travel arrangements, making full use of our extensive flight network to all key destinations.”

AirAsia is also open to hiring qualified and eligible individuals from MYAirline. They’re inviting affected MYAirline staff to explore the possibility of joining the AirAsia team, known as the Allstars family.
