Alaska Airlines Launches Exciting New Nonstop Routes

As the holiday travel season picks up momentum, Alaska Airlines is introducing nine new nonstop routes. This expansion includes the airline’s first-ever flights to the Bahamas and Guatemala, new connections between Las Vegas and Mexican cities, and a sought-after seasonal route linking Palm Springs with New York City. It’s a time of excitement and expansion for Alaska Airlines, catering to the strong travel demand from flyers seeking relaxation and new experiences.

Kirsten Amrine, Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning at Alaska Airlines, emphasizes the diversity of these new offerings. “There’s something for everyone in our roster of new flights – from amazing beaches to snowy mountains, big city buzz to tranquil deserts,” she says. The airline is not only expanding to countries it has never served before but also enhancing its international service. With pristine islands and turquoise waters in the Bahamas and the adventure, history, and culture of Guatemala, these destinations are set to captivate travelers.

Bahamas and Latin America

Alaska Airlines is introducing its maiden flights to the Caribbean nation of the Bahamas. From Los Angeles and Seattle, the airline now flies nonstop to Nassau, the vibrant heart of the Bahamas. These flights are scheduled for convenient morning departures, arriving in Nassau by late afternoon. This new service to Nassau marks Seattle’s 101st nonstop destination from Alaska Airlines’ hometown airport.

New Gateway to Mexico from Las Vegas

Las Vegas now serves as a new gateway for Alaska Airlines to two of Mexico’s most beloved destinations: Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. With late morning departures from Las Vegas, travelers can enjoy midday arrivals in Mexico.

The new daily seasonal flight between San Luis Obispo and Las Vegas enhances connectivity within Alaska Airlines’ network. This route offers an easy connection to Mexico for guests along California’s Central Coast.

East Coast to West Coast Nonstops

Responding to the high demand for more nonstops from Southern California to the East Coast, Alaska Airlines introduces a seasonal flight that connects the hustle of New York City with the sunny deserts of Palm Springs. Flyers can enjoy a convenient morning departure from New York, arriving in Palm Springs around lunchtime. Alaska Airlines has established itself as the leading airline for flights to Palm Springs.

Alaska Airlines is now operating new daily seasonal routes from Southern California’s Orange County to both Bozeman and Tucson. Bozeman provides a gateway to winter adventures in Montana, while Tucson offers warm desert sunshine in Arizona.
