It was indeed a fun-filled day for a hundred kids at Star City. Cebu Pacific and AHA Learning Center brought around 100 little ‘Juans’ to Star City for a day full of activities, fun, and laughter. The return of “Fun for Little Juans” is part of the airline’s corporate social responsibility program.
AHA brought 100 kids with 50 guardians from a sponsored community in Tondo, Manila to have a day of fun and learning at the Star City. AHA, which started in 2009 as a free after-school program in Makati, now directly supports more than 300 public school students in Metro Manila.
Of course, this would not also be possible without the help of Cebu Pacific employees who volunteered their time and energy to help organize and be with the kids at the event itself.
Aside from enjoying the rides at Star City, the kids were also given snacks, vitamins, and care kit loot bags from sponsors such as Universal Robina Corporation, The Generics Pharmacy, and Pascual Laboratories.
“This is the most fun activity we’ve had since the pandemic. Nothing beats the joy of seeing children happily playing and taking the carnival rides, after being cooped up inside their homes during the pandemic. We, at Cebu Pacific, enjoy sharing our time and resources with deserving Filipino communities.”
Carmina Romero, Director for Corporate Communications at Cebu Pacific.
First love never dies. I fell in love with airplanes and aviation when I was a kid. My dream was to become a pilot, but destiny led me to another path: to be an aviation digital media content creator and a small business owner. My passion for aviation inspires me to bring you quality content through my website and social accounts. Aviation is indeed in my blood and blog!
