Delta Launches Daily Nonstop Flights from Seattle to Taipei

Travelers in Seattle will soon have a new way to reach the vibrant city of Taipei, Taiwan. Delta Air Lines has announced daily non-stop flights to Taipei starting June 6, 2024, subject to government approval.

This marks Delta’s first direct flight from the United States to Taipei and its first service to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport since 2017. This addition strengthens Seattle’s global connectivity, opening up new opportunities for business and leisure travelers alike.

Celebrating its 90th anniversary in Seattle this December, Delta’s history in the region runs deep. With over 160 daily departures to 50 destinations worldwide, Seattle acts as a key gateway for their trans-Pacific operations, currently serving Incheon, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

Premium Experience Across the Pacific

The daily Taipei service will operate on an Airbus A330-900neo, offering a range of cabin experiences, including Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. Delta One passengers can enjoy lie-flat seats, premium amenities, and chef-curated meals. Delta Premium Select offers wider seats, deeper recline, and more legroom.

Through their joint venture with Korean Air, Delta customers can access 80 additional destinations in Asia through ICN. This collaboration provides even more flight options and strengthens Delta’s presence in the region.
