Delta Airlines has once again been named the top airline in the Business Travel News Airline Survey, marking an impressive 13-year streak. This recognition comes from corporate travel professionals who have consistently acknowledged Delta’s exceptional customer service, robust network, effective distribution channels, and superior communication quality.

Steve Sear, E.V.P., Global Sales and Distribution at Delta, expressed his gratitude and determination, stating, “Each and every day, we work to earn our customers’ trust and loyalty, and winning this award for an unprecedented 13 years in a row inspires us to keep improving and delivering for our customers.” He emphasized Delta’s significant investments in enhancing the business traveler experience and credited the achievement to the dedicated efforts of Delta’s team.

Innovations and Enhancements in 2023

Delta has undertaken several initiatives to further enhance the business travel experience. The airline introduced fast, free onboard Wi-Fi for SkyMiles Members on most domestic mainline aircraft, revolutionizing the ability to conduct business at 30,000 feet. In partnership with Hughes, set to begin in mid-2024, Delta will bring streaming-capable connectivity to its regional jets. The expansion of Delta’s Global Sales Support (GSS) chat product to a 24/7 service ensures round-the-clock assistance for customers.

Delta has been tailoring customized solutions for each account to optimize the travel experience for business travelers, from contracting to integrating joint venture partners. The airline has revamped onboard food and beverage options to mirror a restaurant experience in the skies. In 2023, Delta opened five new Delta Sky Clubs, with more expansions planned for the following year. The airline also announced the largest-ever trans-Atlantic schedule for 2024, including new routes and increased services to various destinations.
