Emirates has announced the addition of a second daily A380 service between Dubai and Bali, starting from September 1, 2024, to October 26, 2024. This service is being introduced to accommodate the surge in travel demand to Bali during the peak season.
As Bali prepares for an influx of tourists during the peak season, Emirates’ enhanced service aims to ensure that more passengers can experience the airline’s top-tier products and services. The upgraded A380 flights are expected to play a vital role in accommodating the growing number of travelers looking to explore Bali’s rich culture and scenic landscapes.
From September 1 to October 26, 2024, Emirates will upgrade its EK398/399 flight between Dubai (DXB) and Bali (DPS) to an Airbus A380, replacing the current Boeing 777 service. This move follows the success of Emirates’ first A380 service to Indonesia, which began on June 1, 2023. The additional A380 service will help drive more inbound traffic to Bali during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Enhancing Travel Experience and Connectivity
The introduction of the second daily A380 service underscores Emirates’ commitment to offering world-class travel experiences and supporting Indonesia’s growing travel and tourism sector. By doubling the A380 flights to Bali, Emirates will provide more than 2,600 additional weekly seats to and from the island, catering to the increased demand during the peak season. Passengers traveling to and from Indonesia can now enjoy the A380’s spacious cabins, exclusive Onboard Lounge, and the award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice, which offers over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment.
Emirates launched its non-stop daily service from Dubai to Bali in 2015, complementing its scheduled flights to Jakarta, which began in 1992. Currently, the airline offers double daily flights to both Jakarta and Bali, connecting travelers from Indonesia to Dubai and beyond through its extensive global network of over 144 destinations across six continents.
