Emirates recently threw a Corporate Golf Tournament at the Mimosa Golf Course in Clark, Pampanga on October 4. The event celebrated the anniversary of the airline’s Clark-Dubai route and gathered key players from local travel and aviation.
A Decade of Connecting Clark to Dubai
Back in October 2013, Emirates started a direct service from Clark International Airport to Dubai. This was in addition to their Manila-Dubai route. The idea was to offer more options to travelers in the Philippines. Now, Emirates operates 25 weekly flights that connect Manila, Cebu, and Clark to Dubai. From there, Filipino travelers can easily hop on flights to Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Building Strong Partnerships
Saeed Abdulla Miran, Emirates’ Country Manager in the Philippines, took the opportunity to express gratitude to Clark International Airport for their years of cooperation. Miran emphasized the airline’s commitment to fostering a robust aviation network. He said, “The anniversary is an opportunity for us to reflect on how we can further strengthen our partnerships with key stakeholders so that we can unlock even more opportunities for Filipino travelers and the wider local community.”
Emirates also plays a significant role in the local economy. The airline’s operations contribute to job creation and tourism, among other economic benefits. With 25 weekly flights from various Philippine cities to Dubai, Emirates is a major player in connecting the Philippines to the rest of the world.

First love never dies. I fell in love with airplanes and aviation when I was a kid. My dream was to become a pilot, but destiny led me to another path: to be an aviation digital media content creator and a small business owner. My passion for aviation inspires me to bring you quality content through my website and social accounts. Aviation is indeed in my blood and blog!
