Korean Air flight attendant among victims of stabbing incident in LA

Take care where you go during layovers. Maintain constant vigilance. A recent stabbing occurred at a Target store in downtown Los Angeles. A Korean Air flight attendant who was on a layover was among the victims. After being stabbed in the chest, she is currently fighting for her life.

The incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 15.

An unprovoked attack was carried out by a homeless man who chose his victims at random. The security guard shot him dead inside the Target store. A 9-year-old boy was also stabbed in the back.

The suspect stabbed the female flight attendant, 25, in the chest. Bystanders dragged the flight attendant to the pharmacy section of the store and locked themselves in to administer immediate first aid.

The suspect punched a third victim, who was not seriously injured. The suspect was then confronted by a security guard at the store. The security guard considered using his baton to subdue the suspect, but when the suspect moved towards him, he switched to his gun. The suspect was fatally shot by the security guard.

According to Korean media reports, the flight attendant is in “critical condition.” The airline, according to a spokesperson, is “providing as much support as possible for the victim.”

Hoping all victims would recover soon.
