Korean Air Unveils New Business Class Seat Design

Korean Air has introduced its latest Business Class seat design, called ‘Prestige Suites 2.0’, for its Boeing 787-10 aircraft. The airline revealed details and rendered images of the new seats on its website, showcasing enhanced features and privacy options for passengers. However, the airline has not yet announced when these seats will be available for booking or the specific routes on which they will be used.

Prestige Suites 2.0 is an upgrade from Korean Air’s existing Business Class seats. The new design includes sliding privacy doors, transforming each seat into an enclosed pod for added seclusion. The high seat dividers measure 52 inches (132 cm), providing a private space for each passenger. The seats have a pitch of 46 inches (117 cm) and can recline to a fully flat bed, measuring 78.2 to 79.2 inches (198 to 201 cm) in length.

The seats are 21 inches (53 cm) wide and come with 23.8-inch (60 cm) personal monitors. This setup aims to offer a comfortable and private experience for business travelers.

Modern Amenities for Work and Relaxation

Passengers will benefit from several modern amenities designed to enhance their in-flight experience. The seats are equipped with 60W ultrafast USB-C charging, wireless charging, and a table for devices. In-flight Wi-Fi will also be available, making this the first widebody in Korean Air’s fleet to offer such a feature. Additionally, each seat has a dedicated compartment for personal items.

Travelers flying together can choose the middle seats, which can transform into ‘honeymoon’ spaces when the dividers are not used. This flexibility caters to both individual passengers and those traveling in pairs.

Korean Air’s new Business Class design reflects its commitment to providing a premium travel experience. The introduction of Prestige Suites 2.0 aims to set a new standard in comfort and privacy for long-haul flights.
