The initiative was launched with an 86-seater Dash 8-400NG, bearing the registration RP-C5911, which took off from Mactan Cebu International Airport one fine morning at 8:45 AM. The unique Cebu – Laoag – Cebu flight path, a testament to the successful collaboration between the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte and PAL, showed a heartening passenger load of 90%.
