I understand that you will be with your families for the first time since 2019 to pay your respects to your departed loved ones during the All-Saints’ Day holiday, so here are a few friendly reminders for those who will travel this season from Cebu Pacific.
Arrive at the airport on time.
Passengers on Cebu Pacific and Cebgo must allow time for traffic on their way to the airport. Passengers must arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 3 and 4 at least three (2) hours prior to departure for domestic flights and three (3) hours prior to departure for international flights. Passengers flying to Dubai can check in as early as seven (7) hours before their flight.
Online check-in
Checking in via the official CEB mobile app or the Manage Booking section of the CEB website can help you avoid long lines at the airport. Both options are available seven (7) days prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and up to one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure for international fliers.
Examine the Flight Information
All check-in counters close one (1) hour before scheduled departure time to allow for all necessary pre-flight procedures. We encourage passengers to proceed to their respective boarding gates as soon as possible. Boarding begins 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Flight status information is available at https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status.
Select Domestic Destinations Offer Self-Tag Luggage
In accordance with the airline’s contactless flight procedures, guests flying out of select domestic destinations (Manila, Davao, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Bohol, Iloilo, and Zamboanga) are reminded to self-tag their check-in luggage before proceeding to bag drop counters.
Exemptions and Single-Hand Carry
For a more convenient flight experience, passengers must bring only one carry-on bag. The carry-on bag cannot weigh more than 7kg and must fit in the overhead bins or under the seat.
- Aside from the single handcarried bag, CEB has exempted the following items:
- Items such as gadgets or food that cannot be checked in;
- Items purchased inside the airport (proof of purchase required);
- Walking canes and foldable walkers are examples of assistive or medical items.
- Baby food and other necessities for infants traveling with their parents;
- Alternatively, a small bag that fits under the seat.
Policy on Checked Baggage
Passengers are encouraged to purchase prepaid baggage along with their tickets on the CEB website and mobile app during the initial booking process. CEB has instituted a per-piece baggage policy that applies to all passengers traveling with checked baggage. A passenger may select either a 20kg or a 32kg check-in bag, or a combination of the two options.
Oversized baggage, excess baggage, and/or extra Bag Fees apply to any excess in size, weight, and pieces.
Examine Your Flight’s Airport Terminal Assignment
Before proceeding to their designated airport terminal, passengers must double-check their itineraries and boarding passes. Cebu Pacific’s 5J flights arrive and depart from NAIA Terminal 3, whereas Cebgo (DG) flights to and from Manila operate from NAIA Terminal 4 on Domestic Road in Pasay City.
Bring your vaccination card and check for any additional travel requirements.
The requirements for travel documents may change at any time and without notice. To prepare for their flight, we recommend that all guests continue to check relevant travel advisories.
Passengers traveling to the Philippines must complete the new electronic ARRIVAL CARD (“eARRIVAL CARD”) within 72 hours of leaving their home country. This took the place of the One Health Pass as an entry requirement. Save a printed/digital copy of the QR code at the bottom of the form and present it at the check-in counter and when you arrive.
Passengers can also find more information at http://bit.ly/CEBTravelRequirements.
Guests must also update their contact information on their bookings in order to receive pre-flight reminders and flight changes.
CEB maintains a multi-layered approach to safety while flying with a 100% fully vaccinated crew, 95% of whom have been boosted – all to ensure that every Juan travel safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
