Sunlight Air Takes a New Flight Path to Clark

Starting April 1, 2024, Sunlight Air will transfer most of its flights to Clark International Airport from its current base at Manila Ninoy Aquino International. This move is the result of thorough planning and consideration, aiming to boost the airline’s efficiency and reliability for its passengers.

The transition to Clark marks a new chapter for Sunlight Air. The routes from Manila Ninoy Aquino to Busuanga, Del Carmen (Siargao), and Iloilo will now originate from Clark, showcasing the airline’s commitment to optimizing its network. Meanwhile, the Manila to Cebu route will remain as Sunlight Air’s sole operation out of Manila. This adjustment aligns with the airline’s vision to enhance service quality and ensure passengers have the best experience possible. The decision also reflects the airline’s responsiveness to customer feedback, underscoring its dedication to meeting travelers’ needs.

Sunlight Air’s CEO, Ryna Brito-Garcia, highlighted the move’s expected benefits, including heightened efficiency and reliability in their services. By relocating to Clark International Airport, which has seen significant improvements and increased traffic recently, Sunlight Air is poised to expand its flight frequencies and explore new destinations, promising an exciting future for its customers.

Expanding Horizons from Clark International Airport

Clark International Airport, located over 100 kilometers north of Ninoy Aquino International, is becoming a bustling hub for travelers seeking alternatives to the crowded skies of Manila. With travel time between the two airports typically over two hours by car, the move to Clark offers Sunlight Air a strategic advantage to tap into the growing market in the region. The enhancements at Clark International Airport have made it an attractive base for airlines, with Sunlight Air eager to leverage these developments to offer more routes and increased flight frequencies.
