CDB Aviation has recently announced a leasing deal with Thai Airways. This agreement is centered around the leasing of two Airbus A330-300s, marking a notable expansion for Thailand’s national airline. The collaboration is a crucial step for Thai Airways in enhancing its service reach across the Asia Pacific.

Jie Chen, CEO of CDB Aviation, shared the company’s enthusiasm in welcoming Thai Airways to their growing customer base in Asia Pacific. The addition of the widebody Airbus A330-300s to Thai Airways’ fleet is aimed at strengthening the airline’s network within key Asian markets. Given the increasing travel demand and upcoming peak travel seasons, these aircraft are poised to provide essential capacity for accommodating a rising number of travelers.

Delivery Timeline for the Aircraft

The Airbus A330-300s are scheduled for delivery to Thai Airways in two phases, with the first aircraft arriving in September 2024 and the second in October 2024.
