United Airlines is enhancing its summer offerings with over 100 new flights to various picturesque destinations across the U.S. and Canada. These include popular spots in Alaska like Anchorage and Fairbanks, and key Canadian cities such as Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax. This move comes as a response to the noticeable increase in travelers seeking outdoor adventures in scenic locations, especially during the pandemic.
United’s summer schedule will see the airline flying its most extensive roster to Alaska in ten years and significantly boosting flights between the U.S. and Canada. This year, travelers can expect nearly 70 daily flights to destinations near national parks, including Bozeman, MT, Jackson Hole, WY, and Kalispell, MT.
Canada and Alaska
United is set to maintain its status as the largest U.S. carrier to Canada this summer, operating over 150 daily flights and serving nine Canadian destinations from its seven U.S. hub airports. Following the expanded partnership with Air Canada in 2022, United has seen over 70% growth in the Canadian market. United customers can now easily connect to 25 additional Canadian cities via Air Canada. Benefits of the carriers’ MileagePlus® and Aeroplan loyalty programs are also available for travelers. “We know people want to get outdoors this summer and United is making it easier than ever to get to fun destinations across North America,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Alliances.
More Options from United’s U.S. Hubs
United is adding over 100 new flights from its U.S. hubs, with Denver and Houston each gaining over 40 new North American flights. Chicago and Washington, D.C. are also set to receive more than 20 new flights each. These additions are part of United’s effort to provide more travel options for those looking to explore national parks or visit mountain towns. The airline’s summer schedule will offer an array of choices for customers looking to plan their adventures.
United’s new summer flights are poised to make scenic destinations more accessible, offering a wide range of options for those eager to explore the great outdoors. From the wilderness of Alaska to the charm of Canadian cities and the allure of U.S. national parks, United’s summer schedule is all about bringing the best of nature within easy reach.
United Airlines’ new summer flights are a boon for those looking to immerse themselves in North America’s natural beauty. The airline’s expanded services to Alaska, Canada, and national parks across the U.S. provide an array of choices for outdoor enthusiasts and travelers.
