I have always known Cebu Pacific to be a dynamic airline. First, they act aggressively. Second, they avoid pushing too hard, steering clear of risks that might lead to failure. Third, they don’t simply follow demand; they create it. Fourth, they’re unafraid to try new things. And fifth, they change the game. Cebu Pacific has rapidly expanded after the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing Philippine aviation to new heights and solidifying their status as the country’s fastest-growing airline.
Why do I say this? They’re taking delivery of over twelve aircraft in 2024 and expanding their route network at a rapid pace. For example, in October 2024 alone, Cebu Pacific opened 18 routes across their five hubs: Manila, Cebu, Clark, Davao, and Iloilo. Cebu Pacific has armed itself with the tools, data, and strategies to forecast trends, manage risks, and transform “will it work” into “how can we make it work.”
I think 2024 is shaping up well for Cebu Pacific, and I wish them even greater success in the years ahead! Here is a list of the routes Cebu Pacific has launched in October 2024 alone:
Manila hub:
- Manila – Chiang Mai
Clark hub:
- Clark – Puerto Princesa
- Clark – General Santos
- Clark – Iloilo
- Clark – Tagbilaran
- Clark – Davao
Cebu hub
- Cebu – Bangkok Don Mueang
- Cebu – Osaka
- Cebu – San Vicente
- Cebu – Masbate
Davao hub
- Davao – Hong Kong
- Davao – Caticlan
- Davao – Puerto Princesa
- Davao – Bangkok Don Mueang
- Davao – Tacloban
Iloilo hub:
- Iloilo – Hong Kong
- Iloilo – Tacloban
- Iloilo – Zamboanga
This list does not include routes scheduled for launch later in the year, which include:
- Iloilo – Singapore
- Iloilo – Tagbilaran
- Iloilo – Bicol (Daraga)
- Iloilo – Dumaguete
In July and August, Cebu Pacific launched their Manila-Bangkok Don Mueang and Manila-Kaohsiung routes. I was thrilled to be part of the maiden flight for the latter. Looking ahead, 2025 seems even more promising for Cebu Pacific as they add more planes and expand their network of routes and destinations. So far, Cebu Pacific has launched or plans to launch 24 new routes, bringing their network to a total of 112 routes—73 domestic and 39 international. This rapid expansion makes Cebu Pacific the fastest-growing airline in the Philippines.
First love never dies. I fell in love with airplanes and aviation when I was a kid. My dream was to become a pilot, but destiny led me to another path: to be an aviation digital media content creator and a small business owner. My passion for aviation inspires me to bring you quality content through my website and social accounts. Aviation is indeed in my blood and blog!
