Emirates is the Official Partner of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup

Emirates is the Official Airline Partner of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The tournament is all set to happen in India from October 5 to November 19. This isn’t Emirates’ first rodeo; they’ve been a Global Partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for quite some time now.

A Special Treat for Cricket Fans

If you’re flying Emirates during the tournament, you’re in for a treat. The airline’s inflight entertainment system, Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, will broadcast all 48 matches. So, you won’t miss a single moment of the action. Emirates is also ramping up the excitement with in-stadium activations, hospitality, and ticketing rights at various venues across India.

This event happens every four years and is the highlight of the cricket calendar. The 2023 edition is unique because it’s the first time the tournament will take place solely in India. Dinesh Karthik, the famous Indian wicket-keeper batsman, will make his commentary debut during this World Cup. Emirates even released a playful video featuring Karthik, where he enjoys live matches on Emirates’ inflight entertainment system.

They’ve been in a long-term partnership with Durham County Cricket Club in the UK since 2010 and also sponsor the Durham Lancashire Emirates Trophy.
