Air France-KLM and Etihad Airways have announced a new partnership between their respective loyalty programs, Flying Blue and Etihad Guest, allowing members to earn and redeem miles on either program when flying on Air France, KLM, or Etihad Airways. This expansion builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two airline groups in September 2023.
As a result of this partnership, Flying Blue and Etihad Guest members will have access to over 60 new routes covering destinations worldwide, significantly expanding their travel options and earning potential. This enhanced connectivity will undoubtedly benefit both airlines’ loyal customers, providing them with greater flexibility and rewards.
The partnership also encompasses reciprocal benefits for elite members, which will be announced soon. These benefits are expected to further enhance the travel experience for frequent flyers, offering them additional privileges and recognition.

Angus Clarke, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Air France-KLM, expressed his enthusiasm for the expanded partnership: “I’m very happy to further develop our partnership with Etihad Airways. Our 9 million Etihad Guest Members will now have access to earn and redeem Etihad Guest Miles when flying with Air France-KLM, giving even greater opportunities to enjoy the benefits of the programme.”
