Last February, I started a poll asking readers to vote for the airlines with the best flight attendant uniforms. The results are now in. Philippine Airlines and Emirates took the top two spots for the second straight year, with Saudia also making it to the top ranks thanks to its redesigned uniform.
Saudia has shifted from a conservative image to a more modern and stylish look. Philippine Airlines has long been admired for its blend of heritage, professionalism, and elegance. The airline’s scarf design includes a Gumamela flower, which is the national flower of the Philippines.
Qatar Airways came in fourth, keeping its strong position from 2024. Cebu Pacific also climbed the rankings. Its tropical-inspired bright yellow uniform stands out and has become recognizable across the region. Many local uniform designs now take cues from Cebu Pacific’s bold colors and style. From a distance, their uniforms look trendy and fresh.
Another standout in the top 10 is Sunlight Air. Their cabin crew uniform, inspired by modern Filipiniana fashion, is elegant and visually striking. It easily matches the uniforms of larger national carriers.
The poll received 1,011 votes and included 62 airlines from around the world. Some of the other airlines in the list were Korean Air, Qantas, Delta, British Airways, and Virgin Atlantic.
My personal favorites include Sunlight Air, Saudia, and Etihad.
