Thanks to “revenge travel” after two years, our local airlines have been ramping up capacity, pushing them to hire more flight attendants. On top of recalling back to work those cabin crew who were retrenched, airlines are also hiring new flight attendants.
As such, I would like to rundown some of our local airlines that are hiring flight attendants, as of this writing.
AirAsia Philippines
AirAsia Philippines is now accepting walk-in applicants for those who want to become flight attendants. They are accepting walk-ins from July 4 to 8, and July 11 to 15. So basically, they will be holding a 2-week recruitment drive.
This is happening at their Manila headquarters located at the 2/f mezzanine level, NAIA terminal 3, Pasay City, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm only.
Requirements and qualifications are as follows:
- Willing to be based in Clark, Cebu, and Kalibo
- With clear complexion and good set of teeth
- Weight should be proportionate to height
- Minimum height for females is 160cm and males is 170cm
- At least a senior high school graduate
- Fluent in English and Filipino; being multi-lingual is an advantage
- Updated CV/Resume
- Copy of valid passport (at least 1 year)
- Full body photo
- Headshot photo
Cebu Pacific
Cebu Pacific continues to hire flight attendants through its online process. One thing great about Cebu Pacific is are continuing to expand its capacity. Their goal of go beyond pre-pandemic capacity within the year. As such, they are widening their network, particularly their domestic flights.

Requirements and qualifications are as follows:
- Must have completed at least two (2) years of college or equivalent.
- Preferably has previous experience as a Cabin Crew, particularly A320/321/330 qualified.
- Must meet the minimum height requirement of 5’3 for females, and 5’7 for males.
- Candidates without prior experience as a Cabin Crew may also apply.
- Ready to join training as soon as possible.
- Open to Filipino nationals based in the Philippines only.
- Willing to be based outside of Manila, Philippines.
- Must be proficient in Filipino and English language.
- Must be physically fit to undergo the training and perform the roles and responsibilities of a Cabin Crew.
- Must have a customer-centric mindset.
- Must possess confidence and creativity in problem solving.
PAL Express
Philippine Airlines subsidiary PAL Express is holding a cabin crew open day interview on July 9 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Indiana Aerospace University, IAU Town Center, Kagodoy Road, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City.

Requirements and qualifications:
- Filipino citizen
- At least 18 years old
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- Fluent in English and Filipino languages
- Minimum height of 5’3″ for females and 5’6″ for males
- Bring resume (even if you have applied online)
- Vaccination card
- Water and food
- Female – Business attire with blazer, full make-up, and hair tied in a bun
- Male – Business attire with blazer
