Cebu Pacific Took Delivery Two A320neo and A330neo This April

Cebu Pacific takes another giant leap in expanding its fleet, operating newer planes, and catering to the growing demand for air travel. This month of April has witnessed Cebu Pacific receiving three new aircraft – two A320-271N (A320neo) and one A330-941N (A330neo). Cebu Pacific is indeed proving that if there is a will, there is a way.

Welcoming the A320neo and A330neo to the Cebu Pacific Family

The first A320neo, RP-C4136, touched down in Manila on April 15, coming all the way from Toulouse via Muscat, Oman. The second A320neo, RP-C4157, joined the fleet on April 29, bringing with it some intriguing details we’ll explore later. Finally, just today, Cebu Pacific took delivery of an A330-900neo (RP-C3906), making them the sole operator of the A330neo in the Philippines.

The Most Unique Addition – RP-C4157 A320neo

Among the three planes that arrived this month, RP-C4157 stands out as the most unique. There are two key reasons for this. First, it is one of five leased planes from Avolon Leasing for Cebu Pacific, in addition to the original plan of ten deliveries this year. Second, RP-C4157 is an NTU or Not-Taken Up aircraft, initially bound for the Russian carrier S7. As you may recall, Cebu Pacific had to lease an extra five planes to address the surging demand for air travel.
