AirAsia Philippines Connects Cebu with Northeast Asia

AirAsia Philippines is intensifying its footprint in Northeast Asia, launching three flights a week to Narita, Tokyo. The new flights, departing from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), reinforce the airline’s robust international connectivity. The inaugural guests of flight Z2 9180 were greeted with friendly faces and delightful treats as they embarked on their journey.

Connecting the Dots

AirAsia is no stranger to international direct flights from MCIA. Narita is the fourth international destination in their lineup, along with three weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur and Seoul, and four weekly flights to Taipei. AirAsia plans to continue enhancing its operations in Cebu, transforming it into a convenient gateway for southern travelers.

AirAsia Philippines’ Communications and Public Affairs Head, Steve Dailisan, shared, “AirAsia’s mission has always revolved around democratising air travel with value-for-money deals. By launching more gateways in the country, we are adding convenience for travelers, enabling them to fly directly to international destinations.”
