Cebu Pacific continues its expansion efforts by launching another new route, this time connecting Clark to Tagbilaran, Bohol. Starting October 21, 2024, the airline will operate daily flights between Clark International Airport and Tagbilaran, making Bohol’s natural beauty and cultural heritage more accessible to travelers from North and Central Luzon.
The addition of Tagbilaran as a direct destination from Clark marks Cebu Pacific’s seventh domestic route from the airport. This expansion comes on the heels of the airline’s recent announcement of new routes from Davao, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing connectivity across the Philippines.
Cebu Pacific currently operates flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations, spanning across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific’s President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about the new route, stating, “We are thrilled to launch our direct flights between Clark and Tagbilaran. Bohol is known for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and unique wildlife. This new route supports our commitment to provide every Juan with more opportunities to explore and discover the Philippines, one island at a time.”
Cebu Pacific’s Growing Network
The new Clark-Tagbilaran route is part of Cebu Pacific’s broader strategy to strengthen connectivity from Clark International Airport. Recently, the airline resumed direct flights from Clark to other domestic destinations, including Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, and Puerto Princesa, further enhancing accessibility to the Visayas-Mindanao region.
Cebu Pacific’s expanding network from Clark includes flights to popular domestic destinations such as Caticlan and Cebu, as well as international routes to cities like Bangkok, Hong Kong, Narita, and Singapore.
With this new direct flight, travelers can now easily visit Bohol’s famous attractions. The province is home to the iconic Chocolate Hills, one of the Philippines’ most recognizable natural landmarks. Visitors can also see the Philippine tarsier, one of the world’s smallest primates, in its natural habitat. Additionally, Bohol offers a variety of local delicacies and rich cultural experiences for tourists to enjoy.
To celebrate the launch of the new route, Cebu Pacific is offering a seat sale until August 15, 2024. Passengers can book flights from Clark to Tagbilaran for as low as PHP 1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The promotional travel period is from October 21, 2024, to March 31, 2025, providing an affordable opportunity for travelers to explore Bohol.
