Cebu Pacific is ramping up its Visayas and Mindanao flights

Cebu Pacific continues to increase its flights and capacity as more Filipinos seek to travel, particularly during the holiday season. Cebu Pacific will increase its Visayas and Mindanao flights in November to serve more passengers from those areas traveling to other parts of the country.

According to a report from Aviation Updates Philippines, the airline will resume direct flights from Davao to Cagayan de Oro and Singapore on October 30. Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, ATR flights to Cagayan de Oro will depart. Meanwhile, flights from Davao to Singapore will operate three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

More flights between Davao and Bacolod

Basically, Cebu Pacific wants to make traveling around the Philippines via air by launching flights from other hubs and the Visayas and Mindanao area. This also eliminates the need for passengers to travel all the way to Manila just to transit to another domestic flight.

Cebu Pacific intends to increase frequencies on its existing network from its Cebu hub in November. Flights from Cebu to Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa, among others, are included.

Cebu Pacific chief commercial officer Xander Lao said, “We are very happy to share this good news with everyJuan as we continuously see a sustained confidence among the traveling public. As we approach the holiday season, we expect more people wanting to fly and come back home, thus we made sure we are more than ready with additional flight connections.”

Cebu Pacific has launched a special Php 199 seat sale from October 1 to 16, 2022, exclusively for the Visayas and Mindanao hub, to encourage travel and tourism between the two major islands. The travel period is October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
