Cebu Pacific continues to expand its international network by introducing direct flights from Manila to Chiang Mai, Thailand. This new route offers Filipino travelers an opportunity to explore the mountainous region of northern Thailand more conveniently.
Starting on October 29, 2024, Cebu Pacific will operate flights from Manila to Chiang Mai three times a week. The Manila to Chiang Mai flights will be available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while the return flights from Chiang Mai to Manila will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This new route marks Cebu Pacific’s fourth connection to Thailand, adding to its existing flights from Manila and Cebu to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airports. With this addition, Cebu Pacific further solidifies its commitment to offering diverse travel options for its passengers.
With its ever-expanding network, Cebu Pacific currently offers flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
Exploring Northern Thailand
Cebu Pacific’s new direct flights to Chiang Mai provide travelers with easier access to northern Thailand’s rich cultural and natural attractions. “We share the anticipation of many Filipino travelers as we prepare to launch the only direct flights between Manila and Chiang Mai,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer. He added, “This new route will provide our passengers the opportunity to explore Thailand beyond its urban attractions. Chiang Mai’s natural heritage, ancient temples, and laid-back atmosphere promise a tranquil escape for every Juan.”
Chiang Mai is known for its scenic landscapes, historic temples, and relaxed atmosphere. Travelers can now easily visit popular sites such as Doi Inthanon National Park, Mae Rim District, and the revered Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
To celebrate the launch of the new route, Cebu Pacific is offering a special Piso Sale. From August 1 to 6, 2024, passengers can book one-way base fare flights from Manila to Chiang Mai for as low as PHP 1, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The travel period for this promotion is from October 29, 2024, to March 30, 2025.
Passengers can use their existing Travel Funds to book flights and enjoy additional add-ons offered by Cebu Pacific. The airline also provides various payment options, including credit or debit cards and e-wallets, ensuring a seamless booking experience for all travelers.
