Cebu Pacific Has Some Reminders for Travelers This Holy Week

Holy Week is a special time for many Filipinos as they reflect, reunite with family, participate in religious activities, or take a much-needed vacation. While airports are expected to be busier than usual, Cebu Pacific has got you covered with a few handy tips to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience this holy week.

1. Arrive early to beat the traffic Give yourself plenty of time to navigate traffic en route to the airport. Aim to be at NAIA Terminal 3 and 4 at least three hours before domestic flights, and four hours before international flights. For those traveling to Dubai, check-in is available up to seven hours before departure.

2. Check in online Skip the long lines by checking in using the official CEB mobile app or the CEB website’s Manage Booking section. This option is available from seven days up to one hour before departure for domestic flights and up to four hours for international flights.

3. Stay informed on flight information and closing times Check-in counters close one hour before scheduled departure. After checking in, head straight to immigration and security to avoid delays. Boarding commences 45 minutes before departure. Keep an eye on your flight status at https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status.

4. Self-tag your luggage for select domestic destinations When flying out of specific domestic locations (Manila, Davao, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Bohol, Iloilo, and Zamboanga), self-tag your checked luggage at the airport kiosks before proceeding to bag drop counters.

5. Pack smartly Bring only one carry-on bag weighing no more than 7kg and fitting in overhead bins or under the seat. Some items are exempt from the one carry-on bag rule, such as gadgets, food items, airport purchases, medical items, baby necessities, or a small bag that fits under the seat.

6. Understand the checked baggage policy Purchase prepaid baggage online via the CEB website or mobile app to save on fees. The per-piece baggage policy allows one piece for each 20kg or 32kg purchase, with a maximum of two pieces and a combined weight of 64kg. Excess size, weight, or pieces may incur additional fees.

7. Know your airport terminal assignment Double-check your itinerary and boarding pass before heading to your designated airport terminal. Cebu Pacific’s 5J flights use NAIA Terminal 3, while Cebgo (DG) flights operate from NAIA Terminal 4. No terminal changes will occur for Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flights from NAIA.

Keep these tips in mind for a stress-free Holy Week travel experience with Cebu Pacific!
