Emirates Enhances Australian Routes with Additional Flights

Emirates is ramping up its operations in to certain Australian routes a move that’s set to benefit travelers. Starting October 1, the airline’s second daily flight EK430/431 from Dubai to Brisbane will be on the larger A380. From December 1, a second daily service to Perth, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, begins.

The second daily A380 flight to Brisbane marks a significant increase in comfort and capacity. Departing Dubai at 02:30 hrs and arriving in Brisbane at 22:20 hrs, the A380 offers travelers spacious seating and superior in-flight services. The return flight, EK431, leaves Brisbane at 01:55 hrs, reaching Dubai at 10:05 hrs. This upgrade aligns with Emirates’ goal of providing exceptional travel experiences.

Perth is also seeing an exciting development with the addition of a second daily flight. Starting December 1, the Boeing 777-300ER will connect Dubai and Perth, leaving Dubai at 09:15 hrs and arriving in Perth at 00:05 hrs the next day. The return flight, EK425, departs Perth at 06:00 hrs, landing in Dubai at 13:10 hrs. This expansion will offer travelers more options and convenience.

Enhanced Connectivity Across Emirates Network

With these enhancements, Emirates is significantly increasing its weekly capacity to Australia, adding an extra 6,900 seats. This expansion not only caters to the rising demand for international travel but also bolsters business and trade opportunities. Emirates’ extensive network offers seamless connections to over 140 destinations worldwide, facilitating travel for business and leisure alike.

The Queensland government’s Attracting Aviation Investment Fund played a pivotal role in introducing Emirates’ second Brisbane service on the Boeing 777-300ER in June 2023. The upgauge to an A380 is a testament to the success of this initiative, bringing even more travel and business prospects to Queensland. The additional flight was expected to bring an extra 129,210 seats annually, including around 38,610 visitors to Queensland, contributing significantly to local tourism and the economy.

Travelers flying to Australia with Emirates can look forward to an unmatched in-flight experience.
