Emirates flight attendants

Emirates is now hiring more flight attendants as it ramps up operations

Emirates on its website has announced that it is hiring more flight attendants! Good news to all our cabin crew aspirants indeed! This comes as the global aviation industry continues to recover from the pandemic. However, here is the thing. Emirates’ recruitment process is now full digital.

So the question whether they will be staging a recruitment event in the Philippines or not still hangs. I honestly don’t know yet. Of course, I’ll let you know if there are official announcements already.

I don’t want to assume anything nor I don’t want to make any unofficial statements as these may lead to false hopes.

For now, lets just think that Emirates is hiring all over and anyone can send in their CVs through their official website.

What are the requirements to be an Emirates flight attendant?

According to their official website, these are the requirements to be part of the Emirates team of flight attendants:

  • You have a positive attitude and the natural ability to provide excellent service in a team environment, dealing with people from many cultures
  • Your minimum qualification is high school graduate (Grade 12)
  • You need to be fluent in written and spoken English (ability to speak another language is an advantage)
  • You’re at least 160cm tall and can reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, to enable you to reach emergency equipment on all aircraft types
  • No visible tattoos while you’re in Emirates cabin crew uniform (without covering them with bandages or cosmetics)
  • As Emirates cabin crew, you’ll be based in Dubai and will need to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements.

How do I now apply? Is there any recruitment day in the Philippines

As mentioned earlier, all it says so far is that the recruitment process is full digital. There is no official announcement from Emirates nor from any of its official recruitment agencies in the Philippines. Maybe yes, maybe no, but honestly, I don’t really know.

Since the application process is full digital, you would need to apply through their website in which I am providing the links below:

https://www.emiratesgroupcareers.com/cabin-crew/

I also guess you can find all the information you need via those links.

What are other things I need to remember?

Here are also a few reminders and what you will be going through during the recruitment process in Emirates:

  • Complete a short application form and submit your CV along with a photo
  • If successful, you’ll complete an online English test and video interview – If shortlisted, you’ll complete the full application and sign the relevant declarations
  • If shortlisted for the last stage of selection process, you’ll be invited to a short face to face interview.
  • Before clicking the Apply button, please keep the following documents ready to submit with your application such as recent CV in English and recent photo.

Face to face? How can this be if its full digital? Will Emirates be coming to the Philippines? Ahhhmmm, my suggestion would be, just apply and we will cross the bridge once we are there.
