Emirates Premium Economy Celebrates First Full Year

Emirates Premium Economy Celebrates First Full Year

Emirates Premium Economy has proven itself to be a beloved addition in the airline’s offerings. Since its launch in August 2022, over 160,000 customers have chosen to upgrade their travel experience, affirming its appeal among a wide array of travelers. The increasing momentum indicates a promising forecast for Emirates Premium Economy in the upcoming months. In its first year of operation, the airline served this popular cabin class on flights to 11 cities and has plans to expand to 13 cities by year-end as more aircraft with refurbished cabins join the fleet.

Glowing Customer Response

The response to the introduction of Premium Economy Class has been exceedingly positive. Customer demand has surpassed expectations and continues to grow month after month. This warm reception reflects the cabin class’s unique blend of subtlety and luxury, along with its exceptional value. Almost half of the passengers who have flown in Premium Economy are individual travelers heading off for vacations, with the remaining being couples and families. Moreover, over 60% of the passengers who have booked this class in the past year are loyal Emirates Skywards members and regular customers of the airline.

Cabin’s Worldwide Reach

Emirates operates flights featuring Premium Economy cabins to an array of global destinations, including London Heathrow, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Houston, San Francisco, and Dubai. The airline has scheduled the launch of Premium Economy services to Mumbai and Bengaluru starting October 29. Currently, 20 Emirates aircraft are fitted with Premium Economy, 14 of which underwent retrofitting by the Emirates Engineering team in Dubai within the last nine months.
