Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is enhancing its network by launching flights to eight new destinations this June, bringing its total operating routes for the summer to 76.
Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer, expressed excitement about the network expansion. “It is an exciting month for Etihad as we deliver on our plans to expand our network with eight additional locations. We are launching flights to three important sites – Bali, Jaipur, and Al Qassim – which we can see from our forward-bookings are already proving popular with our guests,” he said.
In addition to these destinations, Etihad has started operations to new seasonal hotspots and resumed flights to popular summer locations. For the Eid holiday, the airline began direct flights to Nice on the French Riviera and Antalya on the Turkish Riviera. It also resumed services to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini. Earlier in June, Etihad relaunched its seasonal services to Málaga, a favorite Spanish holiday resort.
Etihad has strengthened its presence in India by launching services to Jaipur, known as the Pink City and a major tourist destination in Rajasthan. This marks Etihad’s 11th gateway into India, enhancing connectivity and convenience for travelers in the Indian market. On June 24, Etihad will introduce a new service to Al Qassim, its fourth destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al Qassim is renowned for its rich culture, vibrant markets, and lush date palm groves.
The following day, June 25, Etihad will begin its first flights to Bali, Indonesia. This new route will provide a direct gateway for visitors to the island from the UAE, as well as convenient connections from Europe, North America, and the GCC. Etihad will operate flights to Bali four times a week, offering travelers a chance to explore the island’s pristine beaches, green rice fields, and unique local culture.
Looking Forward
Etihad Airways continues to expand its global reach, connecting more travelers to diverse destinations. With new routes and seasonal destinations, the airline aims to offer passengers more travel options and enhance their travel experiences.
