PAL International Flights Transition to NAIA Terminal 1

PAL International Flights Transition to NAIA Terminal 1

The world is always on the move, and so is Philippine Airlines (PAL). In an effort to streamline operations and provide a more seamless passenger experience, PAL is ushering in an important change. Starting June 16, 2023, all international flights of PAL that were previously using Terminal 2 will transition to Terminal 1 at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Shifting Operations for a Better Passenger Experience

In a major revamp aimed at easing passenger congestion across all terminals, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) initiated a terminal reassignment strategy. As part of this plan, the operations of all PAL international flights will shift to NAIA Terminal 1. This change is expected to significantly enhance passenger flow and make your travel experience more comfortable and convenient.

For passengers flying internationally with PAL, destinations that will now depart from and arrive at Terminal 1 include Bangkok, Beijing, Brisbane, Busan, Fukuoka, Guangzhou, Tokyo (Haneda), Hong Kong, Jakarta, Jinjiang, Osaka (Kansai), Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Melbourne, Nagoya, Tokyo (Narita), Perth, Port Moresby, Seoul (Incheon), Shanghai, Sydney, Taipei, and Xiamen.

Staying Informed and Avoiding the Rush

With these changes in place, it’s critical to check the flight terminal assigned to your journey before heading to the airport. This way, you can avoid any last-minute confusion or delays, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free departure and arrival.

For passengers with connecting flights in another terminal, don’t worry. Shuttle buses between Terminals 1 and 2 will be readily available for your convenience.

  • NAIA Terminal 1: All PAL international flights (Departures and Arrivals)

Important Note for Travel Before June 16, 2023

If your flight is scheduled to depart on or before June 15, 2023, please refer to the current NAIA terminals in use. Until June 15, NAIA Terminal 2 handles all PAL international flights, except flights to the United States and Guam, Toronto, Vancouver, Doha, Dubai, Riyadh, Dammam, Bali, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Phnom Penh, and Singapore.

Remember: Flights departing from Seoul (PR 469), Busan (PR 419) and Taipei (PR 895) on June 15 will arrive at Terminal 1.

Travel is all about embracing new experiences, and this change promises to make your journey with PAL even more rewarding.
