Imagine that one day was like God holding a magic wand and saying your once dream unfolded right in front of you. It is simply like God holding a magic wand and saying, “your wish is my command”, as he turns you into a flight attendant, your once childhood dream that you worked hard for. Magical, isn’t it? It is! Yes, that day happens, and that is the graduation day of these former aspirants from training to become full-fledged flight attendants of their respective airlines.
I have witnessed a lot of cabin crew graduations from Philippine Airlines, PAL Express, and Cebu Pacific. Mind you, the look on the faces of these newly winged cabin crew is priceless, so much that it will touch your heart. Their stories of how they worked hard to achieve what was once a childhood dream, all the trials they went through to apply, the sleepless nights they endured, and their joy of finally earning their wings are all unveiled during graduation day.
I always look forward to attending cabin crew graduations
No matter how many times I have attended graduations, I never got sick of them. I always look forward to witnessing the such event as I am constantly reminded that nothing is impossible in this world. Yes, the ceremonies are the same, but the stories are different. Each graduation day teaches me different lessons on courage, determination, hard work, faith in God, belief in your strength, passion, and so much more.
I can imagine how it feels like for each of those cabin crew trainees who go up the stage to receive their wings and certificates. So much excitement and fulfilment. Excitement for the next chapter as flight attendant and stewards. Fulfilment for knowing that you accomplished something you used to dream of before.
Inspiring stories that will touch your life
I have heard so many stories during these graduation events that are inspiring. Some shared their stories of struggle, from what they thought was impossible to become possible. Some shared stories of determination like despite growing up living in a poor community and family, nothing stopped them from fulfilling their dream to be a flight attendant so that they can now send their younger siblings to school.
So as aspirants, think of that day when you will walk up that stage to receive your wings, but do not forget to think of how you will achieve that. All these once aspirants worked hard for their dreams. They never came easy, but it was accomplished.
Indeed, cabin crew graduation is a milestone in our lives, an event that will change our lives forever. It’s the day when God will unlock the door from your dream to reality.
