AirAsia Philippines is nearing full restoration of international routes

AirAsia Philippines is set to soar high as it reinstates most of its international destinations in Q1 2023. The airline just announced that it will start flying to Macau, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou again, in addition to Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Seoul, where it already flies.

With the resumption of international travel, AirAsia is making it more accessible for everyone by offering promotional one-way base fares as low as PHP 922 from Manila to Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Seoul, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao. This offer is valid for bookings starting today until February 26, 2023, for travels until August 31, 2023.

AirAsia’s promise to bring back its international flights is a step toward economic recovery and a big step toward getting the tourism industry back on its feet. By offering affordable fares, the airline hopes to encourage more people to explore and travel once again.

AirAsia Philippines Head of Communications and Public Affairs Steve Dailisan said, “Our international recovery is almost complete with the relaunching of the remaining China routes next month. It is also the perfect time to welcome spring in the most preferred tourist destinations among Filipinos such as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. We can’t wait to safely fly our guests from all over East Asia, and couple their trips with best-value deals.”

AirAsia Philippines is taking advantage of the thriving inbound and outbound traffic at the Cebu-Mactan International Airport (MCIA) as it resumes more of its international flights. MCIA has reported more than 500,000 international passenger traffic in 2022, and AirAsia Philippines is set to tap into this market.

Adding to its list of destinations, AirAsia Philippines now offers flights to Seoul from MCIA, catering to travelers who want to explore the bustling city. Moreover, starting March 2, 2023, leisure travelers can also fly four times a week from MCIA to Taipei, Taiwan, providing more options for those seeking to experience the beauty of this Asian destination.

For a hassle-free and seamless travel experience, AirAsia Philippines is encouraging guests on international flights to arrive at the NAIA Terminal 3 at least four hours before their scheduled departure time. This allows enough time for check-in, security, and immigration procedures to be completed without any rush or delays.

To make the process even smoother, AirAsia Philippines is inviting guests to do their self-check-in via the airasia Super App or the AirAsia kiosks at the airport. This allows passengers to check-in at their own convenience and avoid long queues at the counter, providing a more convenient and efficient experience.

The World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is also advising its guests to regularly visit the airasia fly safe page, airasia newsroom, and airasia Super App social media platforms Facebook and Twitter for flight schedules and other travel advisories.
