Trust me, becoming a flight attendant is not a competition of who gets there first. It is simply about getting there no matter what. I do understand that we usually have that reaction of “buti pa sya FA na”. Yes, that is normal, but don’t be carried away because this is not a race. Ever feel pressured when others would become a flight attendant ahead of you? Guess what, there is nothing to feel pressured about.
Mind you though, you are in control of your pace. If you put a little more effort in intoking changesn improving yourself, in always applying and using every rejection as an opportunity to improve, then you will get to your cabin crew goal faster than expected.
Instead of “racing” with others on who becomes a flight attendant first, set deadlines and timelines for yourself. Your only competitor in this “race” or journey is yourself. You have to beat the set goals and targets that you have planned out to achieve your dream.
Your time will come to become a flight attendant, but this depends on you
Your time will indeed come to be a flight attendant but that time will depend on you. Do not compete with others on who becomes a cabin crew first, we all have to run our race. The more we try to compete with others, the more we may end up miserable, and desperate, to the point of just giving up. This cabin crew journey is not about them, but about you.
So when you see others becoming flight attendants ahead of you, simply tell yourself “I will get to that finish line too”. They did run their race, and so are you. Be happy for their success, draw inspiration, learn from them, set your goals, take action, and become a cabin crew.
First love never dies. I fell in love with airplanes and aviation when I was a kid. My dream was to become a pilot, but destiny led me to another path: to be an aviation digital media content creator and a small business owner. My passion for aviation inspires me to bring you quality content through my website and social accounts. Aviation is indeed in my blood and blog!
