Delta Unveils the Delta One Lounge at JFK

Delta has unveiled its newest and most exclusive destination, the Delta One Lounge, at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. Situated between Concourses A and B in Terminal 4, this spacious 39,000-plus-square-foot lounge, larger than any Delta Sky Club, offers premium travelers a variety of experiences and amenities.

Delta One Lounge sets a new standard in service, complementing Delta’s premium onboard offerings. Guests can enjoy a personalized lounge experience with fine dining, spa-like wellness treatments, and valet services. Claude Roussel, Vice President of Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience, said, “Our teams have spared no detail to ensure Delta One Lounge guests receive a truly memorable experience.”

The lounge’s atmosphere captures the essence of Manhattan, making travelers forget they are in an airport. The Delta One Lounge features art reflecting JFK’s global reach, with pieces from artists in Europe, South Africa, India, Japan, and Cuba. Unique design touches throughout the lounge create a space that feels modern yet rooted in New York’s rich history.

Dining and Relaxation

Food enthusiasts will find much to love at the Delta One Lounge. The 140-seat Brasserie restaurant, a collaboration with Restaurant Associates and Union Square Events, offers a three-course meal service with dishes like Hamachi crudo, steak tartare, and lasagna Bolognese. For those preferring a more flexible dining option, The Market and Bakery provide seasonal culinary offerings for walk-up service.

Travelers can also enjoy beverage cart service, bringing premium hospitality directly to their seats. The designated wellness area offers nine reservable relaxation pods with full-body massage chairs, nap chairs, and treatments from Grown-Alchemist certified therapists. Adjacent to this area, the Serenity Lounge offers a quiet space designed for pre-flight relaxation, with lighting that helps acclimate the body’s circadian rhythms to the destination time zone.

Amenities and Services

Freshen up after a long flight in one of the eight well-appointed shower suites, featuring towels, bathrobes, slippers, and Grown Alchemist products. Valet attendants will steam and shine clothes and shoes while guests shower. Business travelers can use one of eight individual soundproof booths or borrow a second monitor to complete any last-minute work.

Guests can also enjoy views of the airfield from the Terrace, an outdoor oasis with regional, seasonally updated plants and a retractable roof, providing a calming environment year-round. The journey starts at check-in, where Delta One customers are greeted by Elite Service agents offering white-glove service, warm towels, and light refreshments. This fall, a private TSA screening lane will be added for increased exclusivity.

While the JFK Delta One Lounge is the first of its kind, Delta plans to open similar lounges at LAX and Boston Logan International later this year. These new lounges will expand the premium experience to more customers across more hubs.

Delta continues to offer the most flights and seats of any carrier at JFK, with over 200 peak-day departures to more than 90 domestic and international destinations. This summer, Delta is flying its largest trans-Atlantic schedule ever from JFK, with more than 240 weekly departures to 26 destinations, including new ones like Naples and destinations not flown since before the pandemic, like Shannon, Ireland.

This winter, the partnership between Delta and LATAM will offer more service between New York and South America than any other carrier or joint venture. Additionally, daily service to Lagos, Nigeria, will relaunch on December 1, reinforcing Delta’s position as the largest U.S. carrier to Africa.
