Your dream to become a flight attendant is valid

In Catriona Gray’s final speech as Miss Universe 2018, she said, “to everyone with a dream, know that your dreams are valid and on your path you are never denied, only directed.” These were truly beautiful and inspiring words, as even Catriona faced failures and setbacks before being crowned Miss Universe. In that case, your dream and goal to become a flight attendant is valid, and there is even a chance for it to become a reality soon.

No such thing as “its impossible to become a flight attendant”

There is no such thing as “impossible dream” or “maling pangarap yan,” and only those with negative minds would consider it. Truly, all of your dreams of becoming a flight attendant are valid, and each setback may simply be a message to you not to give up, but to take a different path to your destination.

I, too, have wanted to work in the aviation industry since I was in first grade. I am an aviation enthusiast, and airplanes bring me joy. Despite all of the setbacks, and just when I thought I was about to give up on my dream of working in the airline industry, here I am, an aviation digital content creator, writing to you. My dream was true, and all those roadblocks were simply “detours” and “redirection.”

Change the strategy, but not your goal

We leave point A and travel to point B when we travel. During our flight, we may encounter heavy turbulence, natural disasters, and other obstacles that may prevent us from achieving our goal. We have three options. The first option is to return to our original location and never arrive at point B. The second option is to disregard the warnings and simply fly through, which may cause us to miss our destination even more. The third option is to sacrifice a little more time by redirecting or changing directions/way points while still flying to our destination.

The choice is yours, but for me, the third option is to make a small sacrifice and take a less turbulent, safe, but longer route while still arriving at my destination.

The same thing happens when we want to be a flight attendant. When roadblocks or turbulent areas appear, consider them simply a sign that you are being redirected to a different waypoint or path but will still arrive at your destination. You may take a little longer, but you will arrive safely.

So, if you want to be a flight attendant, know that your dream is valid. Rejections and failures are not signals to return, but rather that you will be redirected and that you will need to make changes in your life to be happier.
