AirAsia to Expand Network to Perth with A321neo

AirAsia is set to expand its network with the introduction of a new route from Kuala Lumpur to Perth, Australia utilizing its A321neo aircraft.. Starting on March 11, 2024, AirAsia will operate daily roundtrip flights between the two cities.

The new service will complement AirAsia X’s) and Thai AirAsia X’s existing services to Australia, offering travelers more options for connecting between Malaysia and the Land Down Under.

“Perth has consistently been one of AirAsia’s most popular destinations,” said AirAsia CEO Riad Asmat. “Based on increasing demand, we believe now is the right time to expand our network into this new market in West Australia. We also anticipate introducing more routes in the region in the near future.”

“This is an entirely new market for AirAsia X and a strategic route to expand into,” said AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail. “We expect these flights to foster significant trade, commerce, and education interchange.”
