PAL Continues to Hire More Flight Attendants this December

It looks like Philippine Airlines is in need of more flight attendants. I have been attending PAL cabin crew graduations and am about to attend upcoming ones, yet it seems like there are even more aspirants undergoing training. However, the only question is, until when? So, while the opportunity to become a PAL flight attendant is ongoing from December onwards, please take this opportunity.

PAL is known for taking exceptional care of its cabin crew. The company believes that a good work-life balance is key to motivating flight attendants, leading to enhanced performance in their duties. PAL flight attendants are also holistically molded by the company to embrace service as a passion and to always aim for excellence in everything they do.

In addition to receiving above-standard compensation and benefits, PAL cabin crew are provided with a healthy work environment, enabling them to always perform at their best. Of course, there is no perfect airline, but PAL is certainly one that values its cabin crew a great deal.

Requirements to Become a PAL Cabin Crew

  • Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Filipino citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
  • Candidates must have completed at least two years of a Bachelor’s degree program. Diplomas, vocational, or certificate programs do not qualify.
  • A pleasing personality and clear skin are important.
  • Ideal vision is 20/20, although those with contact lenses should not have vision weaker than 20/30, and color blindness is not permitted.
  • Tattoos should not be visible.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and holidays is necessary.
  • Applicants must be open to assignments at various Philippine Airlines and/or PALexpress locations, both within and outside the Philippines.
  • Candidates must agree to undergo all required pre-employment screenings, including medical and security checks.

Specific Requirements for Male Cabin Crew:

  • Minimum height requirement is 5’6″.
  • Makeup, including powder and foundation, is not allowed.
  • A corporate suit, paired with a classic necktie and leather belt, is to be worn.
  • Socks must be corporate style, and shoes should be classic, polished leather.
  • Hair must be in a clean, corporate style.
  • A clean-shaven face is required.
  • Colored contact lenses are not permitted.
  • Hair coloring is not allowed.

Specific Requirements for Female Cabin Crew:

  • Minimum height requirement is 5’2″.
  • Bright red lipstick and suitable makeup must be worn.
  • False eyelashes are not permitted.
  • The attire should be basic corporate, including a black corporate skirt (knee-length) and a black blazer.
  • Hair should be neatly tied up in a bun.
  • Skin tone stockings are required.
  • Shoes should be black with a minimum heel height of 2 inches.
  • Colored contact lenses are not allowed.
  • Hair coloring is prohibited.

Now, I know some will say, ‘The standards there are too high.’ For me, if you really want to achieve this dream and goal, then you will do everything necessary to reach it, because ‘too high’ standards are for those people who will give their all to achieve their cabin crew dreams. As I always say, losers will forever question or rant about the standards, while winners will do whatever it takes to surpass them.
