Etihad Airways has announced it will begin A380 flights to Paris, CDG on November 1, 2024. Paris joins London and New York as the third city with Etihad’s A380 service. The addition of Paris reflects Etihad’s focus on delivering premium comfort and service across all cabin classes.
Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, remarked on the significance of the Paris route, noting its appeal to both leisure and business travelers. He stated that the A380’s introduction on the Abu Dhabi-Paris route enhances travel options and emphasizes the airline’s commitment to facilitating business connections. Etihad’s state-of-the-art cabins and unique amenities ensure a comfortable and productive journey.
Enhanced Travel with Etihad’s A380
The A380 offers a range of features to enhance the travel experience. In economy class, passengers can enjoy 68 seats with extra legroom and 337 Smart seats with innovative headrests and large pillows. This configuration provides additional comfort for longer flights.
On the upper deck, business class passengers have access to 70 private Business Studios™ and The Lobby lounge area. Each Business Studio offers premium amenities designed by Armani/Casa, along with WiFi connectivity, enabling a productive and luxurious experience. This layout suits business travelers looking to work or relax during the flight.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the first-class section features nine luxurious First Apartments with private spaces, designer tableware, leather chairs, and a large ottoman-bed. Passengers can also access a personal shower room, a unique offering on an aircraft.

Etihad’s A380 is renowned for The Residence, the only three-room suite in the sky. This premium option accommodates up to two guests with a private living room, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom, complete with a shower at 40,000 feet. Guests in The Residence are served by a dedicated team of Etihad cabin crew, ensuring top-notch service throughout the journey.
The Residence offers a tailored culinary experience, with an à la carte menu and designer tableware in the private living room. Guests can even enjoy breakfast in bed or indulge in The Residence Signature High Tea with champagne and caviar.
